What The Tower shows
Lightning strikes a tall tower, knocking off its crown. Flames burst from the windows and two figures fall. What looked solid was not. The card shows a shock that destroys illusions, and the clarity that comes after.
The Tower upright meaning
Upright, The Tower brings sudden change: an unexpected event, a revelation, or the collapse of a situation that was already unstable. It feels disruptive, but it removes what was not working. The best response is to let what is falling fall, protect what truly matters, and rebuild on more honest ground.
The Tower reversed meaning
Reversed, you may be avoiding a necessary upheaval, or experiencing the collapse internally rather than externally: a shift in beliefs or identity. Sometimes it shows narrowly escaping a crisis. Delaying change rarely makes it smaller.
The Tower in love and relationships
Upright: A sudden break, a revealing argument or a truth coming out. Painful, but clarifying.
Reversed: Avoiding a conversation that needs to happen, or a relationship crisis that is being delayed.
The Tower in career and money
Upright: Abrupt change: layoffs, restructuring or a project collapsing. Look for what this frees you to do.
Reversed: Warning signs at work you should not ignore. Prepare before change is forced.
Is The Tower a yes or no card?
No. No, or not in the way you hope. Expect disruption before a better foundation.
Yes-or-no readings flatten a card into one word. If the question matters, a short spread that shows the context around The Tower will tell you more than the verdict alone.
